This screen is used to enter the data for the next measurement. The operator enters the desired data for the beam. The data entered here will be used to determne correct bending and associated data that will be stored when the results of the measurement are saved to the hard drive. The data to be entered is determined by the customer. In this version the camber tolerance is automatically evaluated based on the desired camber. The system is also capable of working in metric or imperial units based on an operator selection.
This screen depicts a camber being measured that is less than the desired tolerance. The camber measurement is represented by the red line which is the lowest line on the graph. The camber is also displayed numerically in a box on the upper right portion of the screen. Notice also the beam lenght is also measured. If the actual beam length is more than 1/4" longer or shorter than the operator entered length (as per customer specification) the meaurement will be displayed in yellow with red text.
This screen displays a camber measurement that is within tolerance. Notice that the curve representing a camber measurement is now in between the yellow tolerance curves and that the line is now displayed in green.
This screen displays a current camber measurement that is over the desired tolerance. This is displayed by the red line above the yellow tolerance lines. This is useful as the operator will typically need to over bend the beam to allow for springback.
